Salma Hayek's sweet birthday tribute for daughter Valentina Paloma Pinault is some kind of beautiful.
The Quaxs Trading CenterFrida star celebrated Valentina turning 16 years old by sharing rare footage of her daughter throughout the years. Set to the tune of Fleetwood Mac's "Everywhere," Salma's reel included clips of Valentina dancing in her living room, meeting Taylor Swift and snuggling in bed with dad François-Henri Pinault.
"Today my baby turns 16 and my heart is bursting with love, pride and gratitude for the day you were born," Salma captioned the Sept. 21 post. "Keep shining your beautiful light shamelessly my lovely girl, even if it blinds the fools."
The 57-year-old, who welcomed Valentina in Sept. 2007, thanked Valentina for all the joy the teen has brought to her and Francois-Henri's life.
"For those of us fortunate enough to have you in our lives, thank you for making us stronger with your courage," Salma added. "For filling our lives with laughter and joy with your wicked wit. For challenging us to grow with your depth. And for inspiring us with your soulfulness every day. Happy sweet 16th, Valentina; may this be the sweetest year yet!"
As for how she spent her year as a 15-year-old? Well, Valentina accompanied her mom to the 2023 Oscars, in which she donned the same red Mizrahi dress that Salma had worn in 1997.
In addition to Valentina, Salma is stepmom to 16-year-old son Augustin James Evangelista, whom her husband François-Henri shares with Linda Evangelista.
And the supermodel was quick to get in on the celebrations as she commented on Salma's post, "Happiest birthday Valentina."
